Patients having TB and HIV-Early Treatment is the answer!

There are many factors that are underlying any disease. As it is the well known fact that the HIV has no cure, the prevention is the only answer. But when it is combined with the other diseases like TB, then the outcome for these patients in severe, as HIV is causing AIDS, and in this disease, the immune system is very much compromised causing life threatening problems for the patients. According to the research done on the patients having both TB and HIV, the timing of the treatment has been the major factor for the treatment of the patients and saving their life. The medications that can be used for the treatment of TB are the most beneficial one, however, the full course of the medicines shall be administered and full compliance shall be done with it.

If the patient is receiving the early treatment for TB and having HIV, then the increased risk of survival has been recorded. This includes the 33% survival rate for it. There is research that has been done by Children’s hospital Boston which has shown the results of this research to be true. The ART therapy has been considered to be quite good when the person is co infected with the both diseases. Therefore, when someone is suffering from this disease, it is good to consider that the treatment shall be done with these patients should be fast enough. This research has also been approved by the WHO, and the aggressive measures for the treatment are always encouraged.

However, there are also the medical communities that are thinking that the treatment of the patients suffering from the TB and HIV will be having the burden on the patients. There will be contradiction of both medicines in the human immune systems and it will cause the problems for the patients. On some levels, it has been thought that the immune systems will be burdened so much that there can be some inflammatory reactions that can start in the body. On the other hand, this view has not been entertained, and WHO has provided some of the better guidelines where it has been stated that the AIDS patients who are co infected with the TB, the ART therapy shall be immediately commenced in them as it will provide some of the new aspects of the treatment for these patients.
